That fact is one of the most positive features of your story. Some gave up on you; some were abandoned by you; nevertheless, from musical friends to supportive women, people were willing to assist you. In this case, and despite a justifiable skepticism, these two men recognized the desperate and critical juncture at which you had arrived, and they were willing to help you through. Such selflessness is not uncommon in the human spirit, and it is rewarding to be reminded of it.

I don't know if you will see my response to the comment that you made on my MySpace blog, so I am reposting it here:

Bobby—
Your ever-creative blogging (and that of singer/songwriter Craig Bickhardt at 90-Mile Wind) has inspired me to follow suit. I am creating a new blog called "Tomorrow is Forever, and Forever is Now." It will include all sorts of original writing: political polemics like this one; older blog postings and essays on music and other interests; poems; short stories; autobiographical anecdotes and lyrics from my book, Tim McMullen—Aged Fifty Years (A Life in Song), written ten years ago, obviously; it may even include some satirical videos from my 50-minute collection called "Feast or Famine," as well as new works as they occur. Thanks for the comment and the inspiration.

http://timmcmullenmissivesandtomes.blogspot.comTim McMullenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04840770464754311701noreply@blogger.com
