You have hit your straps now and become a real writer. What you have to think about now is to have this amazing work published as a book so the whole world can benefit/learn from your story.Out of the depths of your despair your "guardian angel" has given you a whole new direction in your life. Get the book out, become "famous" again and sing, play and write songs again - it's all possible.
Your downunder pal
Dave "Doctor" Pepper.
ps Í've read a million "rock" biogs but nothing compares to yours. It's a true Dark Night Of The Soul with a clear light at the end I am sure.DoctorPepperOzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16734927454174685366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6026171904413475346.post-71474686410914275872009-02-07T16:58:00.000-08:002009-02-07T16:58:00.000-08:00I agree: Nice use of time-shift there. Being just a few years...Great use of the flashback. Being just a few years younger than you, I was still in the "tennis racket" stage of imitating Elvis (gyrating in front of the television with an old wooden racket strung over my shoulder for a guitar). My younger brother and I wouldn't get our first guitar—which we shared—until I was a sophomore in high school (and he was in the seventh grade). By then, '64-'65, folk music, Smokey Robinson, and the Beatles shaped my musical perspective and my desire to write and perform.

As usual, I especially like your ability to reflect on the past, to see alternative views of the events, and to acknowledge that your persistent perspective did not allow you to see or accept the alternative assessment at the time. It also reflects a stubborn, or, rather, an indomitable spirit. Despite its repeatedly dark twists, the tale continues to inspire.
TimTim McMullenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04840770464754311701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6026171904413475346.post-82659072987056562792009-02-06T22:35:00.000-08:002009-02-06T22:35:00.000-08:00That's definitely the word for it, Bobby---"miracl...That's definitely the word for it, Bobby---"miracle."
~VickyVickyLouhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18110534082435915686noreply@blogger.com
